For us Wyomingites, the call of the mountains is undeniable, and the vast, untamed wilderness is our backyard playground. When seeking a true escape into the high country, where the air is crisp and the views stretch for miles, Lily Lake Campground near Cody offers an unparalleled experience. This isn't your typical amenity-laden resort; it’s a rugged, beautiful slice of the Shoshone National Forest, designed for those who truly appreciate primitive camping amidst breathtaking scenery. Nestled in a dense forest of Engelmann spruce and lodgepole pine, with the sparkling waters of Lily Lake just steps away, this campground provides the perfect backdrop for fishing, hiking, and simply soaking in the quiet grandeur of our beloved state. It embodies the spirit of Wyoming – wild, remote, and incredibly rewarding for those willing to embrace its natural charm.

Lily Lake Campground is situated at Forest Rd 130, Cody, WY 82414, USA, deep within the Shoshone National Forest. Its location offers a truly remote and immersive wilderness experience, yet it's accessible for those willing to venture a bit off the beaten path. To reach this stunning high-country haven from Cody, you'll take State Highway 120 north for approximately 16 miles.
