I cannot honestly rate this campground, as I did not camp. I came to search for a dachshund lost in May 2021, never found it. It wasn't mine, I have a FB group for lost dachshunds and was trying to help. If anyone found one, the owner would just like to know it is loved and safe. Anyway, if I were still a camper, I would give this site a try, but normally prefer more solitude. My camping partner of 39 years passed away in May 2021, so no more camping.
Small campground, 12 sites. Very quiet during a high summer season. Sites 1 and 12 are the best. No water available and no real river access. We were on a road trip and wanted quiet and found it.
Beautiful campground -- was very quiet and peaceful, with about half the sites filled. Some sites are closer to each other than others; they generally feel private, however this would not be the case if the campground were full. Pit toilets were clean, well maintained, and smelled about as good as one could expect.
Stayed hers during the summer. It is a nice and quiet little campground. The camp host was amazing. My truck died as we were leaving. The host helped me diagnose the problem and then towed me to the ranger station where I could get some help.
Really nice campground! Vault toilet that smells like a toilet. I was hoping to play in the creek, but it is super swift. It is close to proxy falls which cooled us off (cold snow melt). It sure is beautiful and with all of the trees, we had shade all day!
