Beautiful as usual. Too dry though. I worry about the forest. Great to get some cool air and see old friends.

Beautiful national forest. Went during the summer and it was still snowing and chilly so can just imagine how itโ€™s like in the winter. Lots of hiking spots and has a little small town that you can go into for food and lodging. Make sure you have some sort of app (like all trails) or maybe a map because some of the hiking spots can be easy to get off track, especially in the snow.

Beautiful place, quiet and just nature all around. It's a bit far from Cloudcroft but worth the drive. There was no mobile signal of any carrier, which made it even more peaceful. Highly recommended ๐Ÿ‘Œ

Such a beautiful forest in the foothills and above. The rain made everything pop and all the flowers started to bloom. There is a ton of camping spots tucked away and off of the main roads. Elk, deer and so much more are in abundance throughout the park. Take a drive and a hike. Enjoy nature and all of her splendid beauty.

We were exploring New Mexico on the motorcycle and rode through this beautiful forest. The scenery is magnificent, the roads are wonderful, and we are certainly glad we found it. We hope to visit here again soon!
