Lincoln Pines Lakefront Resort

I'd give them a 3.5 if that was available. It honestly would be a 4 except my sleep was so awful the whole time. The people running the place are so sweet, & the playground was awesome everyone loved it including the big kids (18 & 15). There was also a game room everyone liked & bench swings everywhere which is very fun. My brother also pulled a 5 lb bass out of the pond, which was great. The cabins themselves definitely look newer, and the bathroom was fine, but there were a couple things. The bathroom in the bedroom has a sliding door which is very noisy, gets stuck a lot, & leaves gaps that are very see-through. The futon was exactly what you think of when you think "crappy futon", it was weirdly sticky & itchy & was like sleeping on a soft rock. The pillowcases & sheets were stained in multiple areas, which is a bit silly since they're all white sheets which could just be bleached. The house is well-stocked though, with plenty of cookware, which isn't always common in places like these. And although the futon & Murphy bed were wanting, the king size bed apparently gave my parents pretty good sleep, so that's awesome. Overall it's cute, and certainly fun but if you just need a bed, I'd go to a hotel where it's cheaper. (Although be careful of the nearby Wyndham, they have a bedbug infestation my mom saw some awful pictures of)

Our family of 5 stayed in the Springfield, two bedroom, two bath cabin and it was everything we needed! The cabin was very clean and comfortable. My husband, who can sometimes be sensitive to different bedding, pillows, and dust had no problems whatsoever. Our kids (10, 7, & 2) loved the play sets, basketball court, and feeding the fish. We will definitely be making this our home away from home when visiting family in the future!

Perfect cabin for our family of 5 (kids ages: 12, 10, 7). Great location if you’re headed to Holiday world. Pros: very clean Beds were comfortable, futon (as a bed) was good enough for my 7 yo Fishing was good. Unable to catch fish on the pond our house was on, but caught 3 fish within 45min at the other pond Main office had everything you might need: fishing poles to rent, fire wood, worms, ice, snacks, etc Kitchen was stocked with all the basics Pool and splash pad were small, but nice. No complaints from my kids. Nice pizza place within walking distance with good prices. Cons: cabin doesn’t come with linens or towels in the rental price. They are an add on for $35, and doesn’t include any kitchen towels. Our tvs weren’t working. But they were very responsive in trying to resolve the issue. Wasn’t a deal breaker for us as we were busy doing other things, but for the price you expect everything to work The cabin also doesn’t come stocked with hand soap in the bathrooms. We didn’t realize this (we may have over looked this when booking) so was a little bit of an inconvenience All in all, was a great cabin and would definitely come back!

Lincoln Pines Lakefront Resort is one of the nicest vacation spots I’ve ever stayed at! Our cabin was very cheap for how nice it was, and it was so beautiful. The cabin was very clean and had all the utilities and necessities that we needed! They also have a very nice pool, with a splash area for the kids! They have lots of other fun things to do here, but we took advantage of staying so close to holiday world! 8 minutes away from where we stayed and I have to mention again how cheap it was!! Thank you Lincoln Pines for having us! I’m sure we’ll be back! 🖤👏🏻☺️

This is our second year in a row staying at Lincoln Pines and we love it! We have a large family, nine of us, and the number 14 cabin is the perfect size for our family for a few days of visiting holiday world or the Lincoln history locations. Especially in the fall for fall colors to visit the Hoosier national forest host of other fall related activities. Highly highly highly recommend Lincoln Pines for your summer fall or even winter getaway!
