The Lions Youth Camp embodies the spirit of local community service, providing a basic yet functional setting for outdoor activities. It's a place where the focus is on reconnecting with nature and fostering camaraderie, rather than extensive amenities. Lions Youth Camp provides a foundational set of amenities, geared towards group activities and basic outdoor comfort. It's important to note that this camp operates with a focus on simple, community-oriented use, rather than extensive recreational services. The primary services include:
- Pavilion: A central feature of the camp is its pavilion, offering a sheltered space for gatherings, picnics, and events. This is particularly useful for protection from the sun or light rain.
- Fire Pit and Fire Rings: The property includes a large wood-burning fireplace within the pavilion and three additional fire pits across the grounds, perfect for campfires, cooking, and creating a classic outdoor ambiance. Users are encouraged to adhere to local fire policies.
- Pit Toilets: For restroom facilities, the camp offers rustic pit toilets. While not flushable, they provide necessary convenience in a natural setting.
- Fresh Water Stream and Pond: The property features a fresh water stream that feeds into a pond. While the pond is currently not swimmable, it adds to the natural beauty and ecological interest of the site.
- No Electricity (Generator Permitted): The camp does not have on-site electricity, encouraging a more traditional camping experience. However, users are permitted to bring their own generators if power is required for their activities.
- Reservations: The camp operates on a reservation basis. Box for reservations. It is crucial to verify the current reservation process directly with the Eau Claire Lions Club as it may involve lead times.
The Lions Youth Camp's unique characteristics make it a noteworthy spot for specific types of outdoor engagement within the community:
- Nearly 3-Acre Land: The camp encompasses a sizable area of almost 3 acres, providing ample space for various outdoor activities, games, and exploration for groups.

- Opportunity for Self-Sufficiency: The lack of electricity encourages groups to be self-sufficient, fostering skills like fire-building and resource management, which can be valuable educational experiences, especially for youth.
- Secluded Natural Setting: Despite being accessible from Eau Claire, the camp's location on North Shore Drive offers a sense of seclusion and immersion in nature, away from the hustle and bustle.

Customer Reviews
Nice little park area with a fire pit and shelter, pit toilets. Use to be able to drink the water coming out of the hill here, but I'm not sure if it's safe anymore. Says on the sign to call for reservations. Tried 4 times, and no one will answer. Left vm no call back. Poorly run! Good luck.
