The cabins/bungalows are all unique with their own charm. My family is loving this place. We all settle in and unwind and get inspired. Been there twice this year and already planning on a potential third time this year. There is fishing, hiking, and disc golfing as well as some playgrounds and beaches. I like the layout, not too complicated, but still winding enough to feel secluded enough.
We stayed here for a week in our camper. It is a beautiful park and each campsite has beautiful views. The price was a bit high. $55 for full hookups. The only negative I have is the trash. They have Halloween golfcart parades each October weekend and the result is tons of candy and candy wrappers throughout the campground. I spent 3 days picking up trash - it was great exercise and I hate trash!! The people in charge of the garbage pickup actually removed garbage cans from in front of the bathhouses to force campers to put trash in the front bins. Talk about lazy! They have a strict rule about campers leaving trash yet the amount of trash along the campground roads was ridiculous. Other than this issue , we enjoyed our stay at Little Black Creek.
We loved it here so much! The kids had so much fun and everything was just beautiful. The staff was very helpful and we loved the little camp store with treats for everyone.
When I pulled up to the office gate, there were 2 people inside. We sat there for 5 minutes before she got up. We toured the park. The lake looked fishy. The campsites to the right were un level. Some had washes. That whole area was in need of cleaning and repair. Across the lake were better. But the wooden decks were mostly rotten
A great get a way that’s not far from the house. Camp fires, fishing, and lots of relaxing! Had a great time beautiful area!
