The owner was super nice. Easy access to the little coal trails and 5 minutes from Ivy branch trails.
Simple place. Good location. Shower house needs work.
Owner or manager of the place is a money-hungry person cannot wait even 5 minutes lol it's kind of stupid when you think about it because it's not like you're going to disappear within the 5 to 10 minutes that she is bugging you lol
The campground is small but nice. The host was very friendly and helpful. Our campsite was perfect for us. We certainly needed a shower the next morning before we got back on the road and couldn't do it. The sulfur smell from the water, I assume, was so bad that my sister and I gagged many times just trying to brush our teeth. I'm shocked neither of us threw up our breakfast. We also couldn't fill-up our gallon jugs with fresh water for cooking and for the road the next morning. The water color was brown. I can only assume that the campground owners have either a bad or shallow well. The campground is great, just don't drink the water.
Campground was very muddy and very noisy. Very close to the man highway. Dump station had no water to flush out the tanks. Owner was very friendly but told me that we would not hear the traffic unless we were outside. Would not recommend this campground.
