Good for an overnight when passing through. Good-sized campsites and water spigots throughout. Good shade too for Hot summer days, the canyon goes into the shade around 6:30 pm in August. Unfortunately, the bathroom did not look like it had been cleaned in a while and access to the creek is limited.
We really enjoyed this campground. We had our family reunion here. It was cool and refreshing. The fishing was great having the stream run right by the campground.
Hosts John and Belinda are so great. We loved the dog friendly nature of the camp, love love love the creek running fast and cold, love the trees and shade of the sites, and the views! Nearby Ponderosa Picnic area is super awesome, too, but stay away from Kent's Lake as it's a terrible stinky bog. The host said that side are lovely, to be sure, but the lake itself is so terribly stinky. Little cottonwood campground is far better in my opinion and experience. My favorite part of Little Cottonwood campground is the very disabled friendly path to the creek and the seating there. What a gem!!
Great campsite! There is a good amount of privacy between sites. Flush toilets that are well cleaned. It was veryyy windy the night i stayed and i barely noticed in my site because the surrounding trees sheltered the area. The river is rushing, definitely not something you can get in. I have tmobile and had no service.
I have been coming here for over 20yrs, we love this campground, it's private, only 14 sites, flush toilets, a creek running through it, a hidden gem
