All I can is WOW! If you are looking to stay at a camp ground in ruidoso, this is the place. The hosts are down to earth, and are quick to make some great recommendations locally. The sites...oh my. Mature trees throughout the park, plenty of room, and quiet! The seasonal campers are super friendly, and are quick to invite you over. Little Creek RV will be the ONLY place we stay when visiting.
My partner and I are international and we have been doing a tour around America and stopping off at various campsites and I can honestly say this one has been one of our favourites due to the amazing views, wildlife, really cute down town and super lovely owners :) Highly recommend!
Close to town, easy to get to. The staff was all friendly. We loved that so many people stayed for the summer and you can tell they’ve made a good community. It would be nice to have concrete for your picnic tables at all the sites but there’s more than enough gravel to keep you out of the mud. We enjoyed our stay.
Forced to evacuate during June fires and could not return during the last week of reservation. Tried to talk to owner about getting a refund for last week. He would not even return my calls to discuss terms.
We had a great 4 night stay. We stayed during the late winter season, so the campground was very quiet. We saw the wild horses, elk, deer, and wild turkeys in the campground. Zach was very helpful and even helped us back our camper into the site due to an unexpected snowstorm that afternoon. Also has 2 nice bathrooms with showers attached to main office building. 5 minutes to the Ruidoso Winter park and ~30 minutes to Ski Apache.
