Very primitive campground right off the Peters Mill Run trail. We just loved it though. Secluded and perfect for a tent and a fire. There is a pad for the tent, a fire pit and a picnic table.
Small campground with direct access to ATV trails. Tent camping on small sites with fire rings and picnic tables.
I would prefer that the campsites be set apart a little bit more. There was a group of middle aged men blasting music and drinking beer that didn't align with my hopes of a quiet weekend away from the city.
Great spot! Quiet Pretty clean Nice set up Site 7 tiny b&w feral kitten maybe 2 months old with Grey Mum Couldn't catch either, heartbroken as it's middle of nowhere and woke in the middle of the night to see kitten huddled on top of fire pit rocks trying to stay warm.....hoping a good Samaritan will either continue to feed them or catch and find a home 😪
This camp ground is fantastic. There's only 8 sites
Not the greatest..... but free and functional. There were probably 4 of the 9 spots that we could have easily set up our 16ft trailer. We stayed at #6. Its really a staging point for ATV / OHV riders.
