It is very beautiful, 100 acres of pond, we did some fishing, but released them back. Very quiet, except for someone's dog barking a good bit of the night. I guess you can't have everything. Lol there are some sites that people own, that are beautiful. We stayed on site 1 which was very close to the bathroom, and dump stations. Very reasonable price
First year at permanent site and my family couldn't be more pleased from the staff to the things to do around the lake and campground area. Every neighbor we have become friends with are extremely nice and helpful.
We love it here lots to do beautiful scenery
A great place to spend a few days. Beautiful campground.
I genuinely hate to rate this so low. I grew up here. I have fond memories of it, but for someone staying here for the first time you need to know they lock the gate at 8 PM. They do not tell you about this when you register. When you ask about it they offer a key card to the gate for an additional $100. This is the third year I’ve stayed here with my family and this is the first time they’ve pulled this stunt. It’s not likely we’ll be back and that pains me to say it. This was a deal breaker for us. Imagine paying to stay at a hotel and they lock the front door at 8 then make you pay an extra $100 to get access back to the room you already paid for. I genuinely hope they fix this.
We camp with another couple and we both have 40' 5th Wheels. We were explicit in explaining our rigs and made sure that they knew what we had. The roads are mud and gravel. There is no way 2 big rigs will fit in the campground. I had to back up over 100' to get out of this place. Horrible! Oh, and this campground is 95% permanent residents.
