Little Niangua Campground Introduce

Welcome to Little Niangua Campground, located at 275 Taylor Rd, Roach, MO 65787. As a part of the Campgrounds & RV Parks category, we provide a variety of camping options, including RV sites and cabin rentals, catering to those seeking an outdoor experience in the Missouri Ozarks. You can reach us at (573) 347-2728 or +1 573-347-2728.

Our campground offers direct access to water activities, making it a popular choice for those who enjoy kayaking, canoeing, and swimming. Campers consistently praise the convenient water access and the fun opportunities it provides. The campground features decent bathroom facilities, aligning with the typical camping experience.

For RV campers, we offer sites with electric and water hookups, ensuring a more comfortable stay. The lots are generally flat and surrounded by trees, providing shade and a natural setting. Maneuvering large campers is manageable, with minimal obstructions. However, please be aware that the access road to the campsites is primarily gravel, which can be bumpy, especially after heavy rainfall.

Recent flooding has impacted the riverbanks, causing some damage. While this is beyond the control of property management, the area still offers opportunities for recreation, including a small beach area that children enjoy.

In addition to RV sites, we also offer cabin rentals. Guests who have stayed in our cabins have noted the overall pleasant experience and convenient location for exploring nearby attractions such as Ha Ha Tonka and the lake. Please be aware that bats may inhabit the cabin roofs, which can cause noise at night. We recommend bringing earplugs for a more restful sleep. A suggestion from previous guests includes the addition of a dishwashing sink near the bathroom facilities for added convenience.

Little Niangua Campground is an ideal location for those looking to enjoy the natural beauty of Missouri, with easy access to outdoor activities and nearby points of interest. We strive to provide a comfortable and enjoyable camping experience for all our guests.

We’ve camped here a few times and have always had a blast. Great access to water with kayaks, canoes, and swimming. The bathrooms are decent, nothing special but it’s camping life, so. I love that they have electric and water hookups at some sights. Lots are flat and plenty of trees around but easy to maneuver and no real obstructions when pulling camper. It’s 100% gravel the whole way down the path to get to your spot and if there’s been a big rain it can be bumpy, but most campers are pretty used to it. The recent floods have damaged the banks quite a bit but obviously that’s out of the control of the property management. My kids still had a blast jumping off the banks and playing in the small beach area.

We recently stayed in one of the cabins. Overall, the stay and cabin were nice. We only saw our host once during the course of our stay. There are bats inhabiting the tin roof of the cabins, so take ear plugs if you don't want to hear them all night. The first night was speant listening to them scratch, screech and scrabble all over the roof. The next day we invested in ear plugs while in town and slept great after that. The location was very convenient for outdoor activities at Ha Ha Tonka and the lake. A dish washing sink up at the bathrooms would be a nice addition. If ever in the area, would stay here again.

This is a great campground! We had a really fun time and loved the cabins. Comfortable beds and very clean. Nice shower room also. Plenty to do for the whole family. We did a short canoe trip and had alot of fun. I am sure it is a good place to go hunting also. We caught a few good size catfish right in the campground and had a blast! Will definitely go back!

Little Niagua campground is off the beaten path, quit, yet very busy. Great swimming area for those raised in the country... especially in Missouri rivers. Canoe's and kayak rentals available. Tent Camping and RV locations are available. There are a few cabins no indoor plumbing, it could easily sleep a family of 8-10 comfortably...2 couples and a few kids comfortably. Pet friendly. Smoke free. Really a great place to get away.

I've stayed in the cabins there awesome, I've tent camped outside in the group & river side sites, the best fishing ever perfect for a bass boat(if you have one bring it) . I have tons of pics of friends & family grilling & having a good time. Animal friendly, quite. I will always go every year & bring my kids so they can experience this part of the world.
