We fell in love with this place. It’s so peaceful (when the big dogs stop barking😡). The trails are beautiful and well kept. The only drawback is the sites are sandy. We put an extra mat outside and made sure to take our shoes off before coming inside.

Little Pee Dee State park is a tucked away gem and is the perfect spot for a few day getaway! We tent camped and had a front row seat to the lake and the abundant wildlife it offers. Hiking, kayaking, bird watching, & and relaxing were our favorite activities! The restroom & shower house near our site was nice as far as camping goes. Michelle, Ray, & the nice lady from Maine at the camp office were so kind to my daughter & I. We’ll be back when we need an escape from the beach :)

Older but nice campground. Most sites are small and the bath facilities are dated but the campground and bathhouses are well maintained and clean. In general, a nice small campground with water and electric (and a few full hookup) sites

Our 20th State Park @ site # 9. Great view of Lake Norton. Wonderful sounds from the bullfrogs & crickets. Nice views of ducks, geese, squirrels, I can go on & on. Little traffic on the no pavement roads. Saw several sites flooded after the hard rain.
