Little Shaw Campsite Introduce

Welcome to Little Shaw Campsite, a part of the Campgrounds & RV Parks category, located on N Shore Rd in Cowichan Valley, BC V0R 3E1, Canada. This campsite offers a unique lakeside camping experience in a beautiful cove on the lake.

The environment at Little Shaw Campsite is highly praised for its stunning location directly on the lake. Being a walk-in site, with parking available approximately 50 meters away, it offers a quieter and more private atmosphere compared to sites accessible by vehicles. The absence of trucks, trailers, and campers contributes to this sense of tranquility.

In terms of services and features, the primary feature highlighted is the immediate access to the lake, allowing campers to enjoy the waterfront environment. However, one potential consideration mentioned by a visitor is that the campsite seems to be listed as a sightseeing spot. This resulted in a high number of random strangers walking onto their site without notice or request, which might impact the feeling of privacy for some visitors. Information regarding specific amenities such as washrooms, fire pits, or water access is not available in the provided reviews.

No specific promotional information is available. However, the allure of a lakeside campsite in a beautiful cove, coupled with the increased quietness and privacy of a walk-in location, makes Little Shaw Campsite an attractive option for those seeking a more secluded camping experience in the Cowichan Valley. Potential visitors should be aware of the reported issue with sightseeing visitors and plan accordingly to ensure their privacy. For further details about available services and booking information, it is recommended to consult local camping resources or relevant authorities as direct contact information is not provided.

Amazing campsite. Right on the lake. Only downside is it seems to be on a list for sightseeing, meaning we had what felt like an endless parade of random strangers attempting to walk into our site without any notice or request.

Beautiful cove on the lake. Coz it's a walk-in site (park about 50 meters away), feels more quiet and private, no trucks, trailers, campers.

Smaller campground with only 7 sites. Some have beach access. Only one pit toilet. No water. You must bring in your own. Roads to this campgroud aren't paved. Would not recommend if you don't have an SUV or truck. The potholes were deep and your sports car would get wrecked. Campground itself was nice if you get a good spot. But beware it gets very windy! We didn't even get to enjoy the lake because it was so choppy.

Dont stay at mosaic campsites. They are a logging company destroying the island for profit
