Very well managed, private campsite with lots of amenities and great views from most sites. Ocean view sites are on a slope so there are nice views even from sites that are not oceanfront. Have camped here several times with a 25ft unit and usually book on Cedar Way, Garry Oak Ridge or Maple Way. We also tried the river front sites down Beech Way, it was a tight squeeze for the RV but a beautiful spot and great for a group if you book all 5 spots. Nice hiking trails at the campsite, dog friendly, nice cafe and proper recycling facilities. Lots of supply shops very close by. Full services, wifi is good but spotty if you’re trying to work.

Hard to imagine a campground like this where each campsite is surrounded by lush tall trees with amazing views. The campground has all the amenities you would expect, with a supermarket a stone’s throw away from the main entrance to stock up your every needs. There are trails around the campground.

Beautiful camp site and very friendly staff, tons of spaces so there's usually availability even on long weekends and holidays. the cafe has great coffee and delicious food, and their office has most of the odds and ends you may need for camping, and they have on site laundry which is a God send when traveling, as well as clean coin showers at a very reasonable price. The little hiking trails were a fun and interesting way to spend a couple hours, during the summer months wild blackberries grow all along them and we stopped to pick and eat some; they were delicious. There's a fellow on site who makes really cool welding art, that's awesome for taking pictures with, and he's also a really interesting guy to have a conversation with very friendly funny and charming. we loved the time we spent at this camp site. The price may be a little higher than other sites but it is well worth it if you want more than just a spot to park for the night.

It was the first time for us camping at living forest. The sites allow for many sizes of RV's and are semi private. The campground is clean and has many amenities. some sites have a nice view of the ocean. There is a small beach and it is easy to launch kayaks.

Camped in sites 56-58; great experience with nice generous private sites. Cafe with ice cream was awesome to have in the campground. Kayak rentals worked out nicely too. Being able to move the picnic tables allowed our group of 11 (in three sites) to enjoy meals all together in the centre site. Enjoyed having a water tap in our site (we tent so we weren’t hooked up and it’s a very low tap so don’t expect to get a big jug under it, but it was nice for filling stove pots and water bottles with). Could’ve used more soap dispensers in the bathroom (only 1 for 4 sinks). They were adequately clean in usability terms, but the steel walls could use hosing down; there’s a good year’s worth of dust there. Great family-friendly quiet campground! Bring bikes for the kids; it’s a great place to cruise around.
