For generations of Minnesota campers, this location has been a reliable destination. It offers a decent selection of sites—some with electric hookups—all within easy walking distance of the lake, swimming beach, and the park's historic core. Decent selection of sites. We have an awesome site right by the lake. The canoe in and backpack sites are awesome.
Been going here since I was young. It’s a reliable campground with a good selection of sites with varying views. Wouldn’t recommend lower sights, especially during a wet season, grass gets quite marsh-y and muddy after heavy rain. Regardless, pretty great! Nice fishing spots and mini trails.
