Customer Reviews
Camped here several times as a young boy with my family on vacation in the late 1960's and early 70's. Was quite a bit different then. The first few times was before the highway was constructed btwn Wise River and Polaris. Just a gravel road and very remote. Gorgeous area and great fishing.
Lodgepole is a perfectly functional campground: clean sites, clean restrooms, easy access to water spigots... just keep an eye out for black bears that frequent the area, yet add to its mystique. And being that it's not right on the water, finding a spot is usually not a problem. Have camped there three times and it is very quiet - even being just off MT Highway 1.
Extremely quiet, nice flat paved sites, clean campfire ring and picnic table. (no hookups - but for $8 a night, who cares). Clean bathrooms (no running water), little river nearby. A great option for a quiet evening. Fit our 31' Winnebago no problem.
Great place to camp right on the river with lots of trees. Nice, clean sites with outhouses, tables, paved pads and fire pits. Fit out 30' trailer perfectly.
Great campsite! Right on the river where we actually caught a few small fish! Quiet, clean, private. Loved camping there!!!
