Logan Valley Christian Retreat, nestled in Ellington, MO, consistently stands out as such a place. It's renowned not just for its beautiful setting in the Ozarks, but more importantly, for the vibrant and caring environment it cultivates. As one past attendee enthusiastically shared, "I've been here twice for retreats with my youth group in the past. Such a fun and welcoming environment. Staff were kind, food was great, and facilities were well maintained. Lots of fun!!" This sentiment perfectly captures the essence of what makes Logan Valley a beloved destination for many Missourians.
Logan Valley Christian Retreat operates as a year-round facility, fully equipped with heating and cooling, making it suitable for gatherings in any season. Its primary mission is to provide a setting that "fosters personal spiritual renewal" and offers a "restful, relaxed setting for Christian fellowship." This commitment is deeply embedded in every aspect of the retreat, from the "caring and well trained staff" to the "appealing, delicious and nutritious meals" prepared by their chefs. Guests consistently praise the "good food, good fun and lots of memories made," highlighting that the people who "run this camp really care." This genuine care is a hallmark of the Logan Valley experience.
What's particularly unique about Logan Valley is its dual camp setup. It's "actually two camps in one," with Cedar Lodge having a capacity of 70 and Logan Lodge with a capacity of 120. Crucially, "Each side of camp has its own Dinning Hall, Chapel, Waterslide, Basketball Court and more, you do not share your facilities with any other group." This thoughtful design ensures that "Groups on both sides of camp are made to feel they are the only ones at Logan Valley," providing a sense of exclusivity and dedicated service, regardless of your group's size.
Beyond organized retreats, Logan Valley Christian Retreat is also available for rental by various Christian groups – be it youth, adult, children, pastor, staff, or deacon retreats. This flexibility makes it an invaluable resource for churches and organizations across Missouri looking for a well-equipped, supportive environment for their specific needs. From "Daily Bible lessons, games, crafts, food, fun and Christian fellowship" during youth camps to providing a serene space for adult renewal, Logan Valley is committed to serving the Lord by serving its guests. It's a place where growth, bonding, and spiritual refreshment truly happen, right here in our own Missouri backyard.

I've been here twice for retreats with my youth group in the past. Such a fun and welcoming environment. Staff were kind, food was great, and facilities were well maintained. Lots of fun!!
Our family has enjoyed this Christian camp for many years! Good food, good fun and lots of memories made. It goes without saying a camp is only as good as its staff and owners and these people that run this camp really care.
My time here was amazing! I love it here! The staff are great and the owners are the best people you will ever meet! I will always go back! I love it in the sun, rain or snow!
Went there for the April 2024 total solar eclipse. It was a wonderful experience!!
Awesome camp! The staff did an amazing job. I have quite a few food allergies, and when they'd make food for everyone, they would work with me to make sure I was fed. Made a lot of great memories! Look forward to coming again!
