Very peaceful, relaxing, a good get away spot to clear your mind
Awesome spot to camp at you get a nice view of the river and good spot to take your boat oit on
Super awesome place to camp and enjoy the beautiful river. Will be back for sure!
Check with locals about boat launch (rustic, not improved). Spring floods can rearrange gravel bar to the point that only 4WD trucks will get you in and out. Large camping area with generally solid footing for heavier vehicles. Tight turns between end of state maintained road and river.
Need more shade to camp in! But otherwise... awesome!!
One of the most beautiful gravel bars in Missouri. It’s got a great swimming hole and a gorgeous bluff. Unfortunately, you can’t camp there any more without being harassed multiple times a day by rangers who treat everyone like a criminal while they’re just trying to enjoy nature.
