Much to be desired. The photos online are misleading to say the least. Stayed over memorial day weekend, and the campground was packed. They did not have both pools opened so the pool was over crowded. The playgrounds with swings, are old and not kept up. The sites are incredibly small. I should not have to wait for the adjacent camper to leave so I can get my rig out. Employees were fine, bathrooms were somewhat clean, but not kept up as it should be. It is close to many area attractions which is appealing, and it is the nicest campground in the area, just wish the price matched the quality.
I called to see if they had a dumping station and if do, how much. The young lady was pleasant as she told me it would be $50.00! Just to dump, I asked? Yes, she said. She then went on to say that if I wasn't staying at the campground, that is the fee. I have traveled extensively and this is the highest price I have ever heard of just to dump. Do better Lone Pine Campsite.
What a beautiful, clean, quiet, camp ground to stay at! We enjoyed ourselves there so much we would definitely stay there again! Easy access to the bike trails near by the camp grounds and two very clean well kept pools. The showers and restrooms are super clean! The people who run it are very friendly and helpful! What a great place to camp at we highly recommend Lone Pine Camp ground!
Plus side: close to Burlington. Negative: RV grass parking lot. Lots of permanent residents. Our site was grass and mud. Good as a short stay for Burlington area.
We stayed here with our RV for a couple nights! Nice lot- not too small . Park has a pool ,but we didn’t use it . It looked nice. We would go there again
