Fantastic campground. Its very, very much space, alot of public toilets that were very clean. The beach is lovely and the lake great for swimming. We were here in october, probably after high season so it was not much people. The campground has a stunning view. It's really a place to recommend, especially if you travel with kids like we do, they loved playing in the sand and the water.

It was so pretty, and because we went in the winter it was not crowded at all. The water is very low, so there is no water around Lone Rock. My boyfriend and I went kayaking and his legs got stuck in this quicksand/sink hole around when we tried to dock, so be careful! Would go back again, but be careful bc the sand can be like mud, so take a 4 wheel drive vehicle if you drive deeper towards the water. It was great place to camp!

This is a beautiful location to camp! Our family had so much fun being right on the beach with our tents just feet from the water’s edge. The campgrounds are well kept with plenty of space even on a busy weekend. However, quiet hours are set for 10 pm - 6 am and they were NOT enforced. Park rangers used to patrol at night to ensure people were respectful, but that doesn’t seem to be happening anymore. Parties with fireworks and blaring music going through the night and into morning hours made it difficult for us and our kids to sleep.

Must need a high clearance car to get to the beach. Sand is too soft and even 4WDs get stuck at some spots. Not really that primitive with toilets and shower available, but one of the best sites for public camping on the Lake Powell. Wish there were regulations for driving during silent hours though

Unforgettable place. A very beautiful and sandy beach with cool and clean water. The ground was soft, but we reached our destination with a Ford F150. No problem.

A cool place to visit in case you have time in your hands to relax by the beach. I would say it’s worth visiting but not a must have. It had its own struggle to go to the beach by car. So plan it accordingly and research about the place.

Great dispersed camping here. Lots of room to park on different levels. Very close to Glen Canyon Dam and Page. Swimming is fine if you like coollll water.

Absolutely stunning and awesome camp site! Free of charge with a National Park Pass (e.g. America the beautiful). You can drive down to the water and camp a bit higher with your RV. 4WD is not required to reach the beautiful camp spots.

Free beach and plenty of parking! Small cars will get stuck if you hit a big enough sand patch. Theres several little dirt roads that go down to the beach, so if you have a small car definitly look ahead and pick the road with the least sand
