I think this is the best camping experience I've had yet. A perfect end to camping this season
Great place to take the kids fishing! They are 6 and 3 and LOVED how many little fish they caught. Camping is amazing bc the views of the lake are great. Friendly and nice camp host JR. Definitely our new little spot! Showers were hot and handicap accessible. The toilets on the entrance to the camping area flush but the showers on the other side are better. It's kept up very nice!
What a find! $16 night with 50 amp service! Beautiful lake for swimming, paddle boarding or kayaking. NO reservations. First Come. (need to disclose that we were here on two weekday nights, no crowd) There are a few sites that could handle larger rigs. We are 30’ and fit without un-hitching.
Very nice. Felt safe camping with kids. There is a playground and shallow water for swimming in the lake.
We arrived around 4pm on a Friday and had plenty of sites to choose from. Nice and quiet campgrounds once the beach thins out for the evening. $11/day for non electric, $13/day for electric. Firewood and ice from the host was about $5 each.
