Not an enjoyable place. Given the location you'd think they'd take better care of the grounds...considering they care so much about signing in and out. Today I was banned for life for not signing in when saying goodbye to family that I drove 7 hours to see. Though I signed in the day prior, and thought it would be ok considering they don't give out passes to place in your car or any documentation. The management was very rude, and not understanding of our situation. They stopped my car to speak with me while I was leaving. It was an overall disappointing experience, and wouldn't recommend the site to anyone.

Awful! Never received check in access. When arrived, property manager seem annoyed that I walked into unlocked office door, 2O minutes after closing. Thank goodness he was still there or we would of never been able to access over-priced cabin. Road in is terrible. Grounds and beach are absolutely disgusting. Broken chairs and trash on beach. “Resort-style” Pool not opened in the middle of July. It was filthy and clearly had not been open for awhile. Would not take much to fix up property, especially with the amount charged per night...

This campground has been a lovely, family run place since the 60's, when my family discovered it. We drove out, with tent & boat & eventually motor home & boat left for the season at the site. It was always a lovely, family getaway much enjoyed by many seasonal residents. I have very fond memories of Long Cove Campsites, as I'm sure many others do. I visited there in 2016 and was so thrilled to see that not much has changed! The family has done a beautiful job at maintaining the site! I'm looking forward to another visit (from California) next year.

Very rude owners! They pick and choose what they find acceptable. They banned my family dog (Labrador) even though there are other large dogs there. Banned for life, after registering the first day, but not the second day. Bathrooms are unkept and degrading. The single road in and out is washing away and the pot holes could bottom out any vehicle.

Do not go here! Place is in need of serious attention. Very run down. Entrance road could cause damage to your vehicle from all the pot holes and rocks. Low water pressure and heard that there have been a few water line breaks. Not sure if I trust the safety of the drinking water. Visitors are not welcome. Rules and regulations seemed to change at the discretion of the owners.
