Loop Campground Introduce

Loop Campground offers a unique and authentic camping experience nestled in the heart of Dugway, Utah. Part of our platform's Campgrounds & RV Parks category, this charming establishment provides a perfect blend of nature and comfort for outdoor enthusiasts seeking to disconnect from technology and immerse themselves in the great outdoors. Located at #1, Dugway, UT 84022, Loop Campground is an ideal base camp for adventurers exploring Utah's red rocks, ancient petroglyphs, or nearby attractions.

The campground sits on dirt roads that lead to each individual site, creating a bumpy yet picturesque drive. Each site features a fire pit and a picnic table, with one double-site accommodating up to three tents, making it perfect for groups or families. The serene environment is surrounded by stunning natural beauty, offering plenty of opportunities to unwind and recharge.

  • Service Items: Loop Campground provides basic amenities such as water and electric hookups, restrooms with running water (though not at individual sites), and trash hauling services. Firewood is available for purchase, and camp hosts are on-site to assist guests with any needs.
  • Characteristics: The campground emphasizes a back-to-nature experience, with no running water or dumpsters available on-site. Guests are encouraged to bring their own water and dispose of trash by driving it out. The lack of modern conveniences allows visitors to fully embrace the outdoor lifestyle.

For those seeking a true nature retreat, Loop Campground is a hidden gem. It offers a perfect balance between amenities and simplicity, allowing visitors to disconnect from technology and reconnect with the natural world. Whether you're an avid camper or just looking for a quiet getaway, Loop Campground provides an unforgettable experience surrounded by stunning scenery.

The drive up is bumpy, but beautiful. Each site has a fire pit and a picnic table. Just one site has 2 picnic tables. We stayed at that double site. We were able to fit 3 tents there. No running water, but a 5 gallon jug did just fine. No dumpsters that I saw, so we drove out our trash. The deer there are very used to people and they came right up to us, sniffing our dinner.

Had a good time. Although there are trails available. We chose the unplug and relax. The camp host was very helpful and knew all about the sites and amenities. Plenty of birds and butterflies. Saw a few deer within 30 yds of tent. All in all...if your looking to shut out technology, wrap yourself in nature and scenery, or just get away this is the place.

Pretty little campground. It only appeared to have 2 spots. 1 was a group campground, the other was a single. Both close the a little stream flowing pretty well for end if August. Pros: by water, has tables, firepots with grills as well, lush vegetation, and pretty. Cons: right off the side of the road, not very private. Also water you'll have more mosquitos

We go up every year and really enjoy this campground. Far enough up the canyon that we have no service and can enjoy family time yet close enough to home that we can go up easily. The only downfall was the bathroom, but that is to be expected in a public outhouse
