Lopez Farm Cottages & Tent Camping

My husband and I stayed in Cottage 4 in the winter and absolutely loved the experience! Our room was so cozy with the propane fireplace burning and the bed was super comfy. It was perfect for a little island retreat. Super close to the ferry, super close to the village, and yet super quiet! Highly recommend!

This was such a good find! Such a peaceful place. We stayed in one of the cabins and it was so clean and cozy with all the essentials we needed (toiletries and kitchen ware, etc). We didn’t have a chance to stay as long as we wanted to and so didn’t have a chance to use all that was available but the provided coffee, cookie, yogurt, and granola was such a helpful boost to help us keep traveling the next day. We were greeted by one of their cats and she was so sweet! Anyway, I’m definitely saving this place for future trip plans and will definitely try to stay more than one night next time!

I stayed at the Lopez Farm Cottages for a two night personal retreat. It was just what I needed. The grounds are beautiful and impeccably maintained. The cabin was very clean, comfortable and with all the amenities I could need. The hottub was tucked away under some beautiful trees. Check-in and check-out was easy. The owners are kind and gracious. Will definitely come again and highly recommend it.

Our experience was absolutely FANTASTIC. My wife's (fifty something) first time on a ferry boat was 2 weeks ago and she loved it so much, she wanted to go someplace else. We decided on Lopez Farm Cottages as she wanted to visit the San Juan Islands. Our visit was from Feb 1st through the 4th so it was very cold. We had snow while we were there, but traveled around Lopez by car and visited many attractions while there. Since it is the off season, many things were closed for the winter. We traveled to Orcas, Shaw, and San Juan Island by ferry and foot traffic. We stayed in cabin 4 at Lopez Farm Cottages. The cabin was great, clean, cozy, and warm. A gas fireplace kept us comfortable. The unit had nice supplies (hot plate, small refrigerator, ceiling fan, microwave, and some utensils), quiet, and very comfy. We tried the community hot tub (in 28 degree weather) and it was nice. Very clean and tidy. My wife stated that the first thing I asked when entering the cabin was, "Where is the TV?" There is none. A TV is not required when you want quiet. It is a short stroll (about 50 yards to the cabins) and they supply carts to hauls your stuff. My wife says she wants to visit in the summer when the weather is better. When we return this Spring or Summer, we will DEFINATELY return to Lopez Farm Cottages. It was a GREAT experience. We (I and a couple) stayed in two tents mid-week in mid September on a cycling trip through the San Juan's. I was so pleased with how close we were to both the ferry and the village, and how comfortable we were and the amenities: hot water for the tea and great coffee, great showers close by, electricity in the tents, super quiet and a lovely view. My only hard part of the stay was waking up, so happily buried under my duvet and flannel blanket on top, to a chilly, foggy morning. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!
