Customer Reviews
My husband and I stayed there 1 night in June 2023. We were told to choose from 2 sites the manager pointed at. We chose one and then set up our tent. 1-2 hours later, the owner comes by and rudely told us that he had already promised that site to someone else so we had to move. He did not offer to help us move everything nor did he offer any kind of monetary compensation. And, we travel a lot and stay in campgrounds a lot, so we understand there was a mixup. The main thing that bothered us was his rude attitude when he spoke to us. We moved our tent that night. However, when we woke up and left the next morning, NO ONE was in that spot that he made us move out of.
I love it here. Ive been here almost 2 months and absolutely no one has bothered me yet I have made several friends. I feal safe and my dogs, no worries.I love having my coffee in the morning and watching the wildlife near my yard. There is a little bit everything out here that adds to the peacefulness.they are getting work done on things that they need to and if the rest of people would take care of things then everything out here would last so much longer. I would recommend this campground to anyone. the spaces are huge and all the amenities are here.
Me, my brother, and my dad stayed there for a night. We were desperate for a place and it was perfect on google. The people were nice and the views were great. I am very used to backpacking, hiking for days and pitching hammock at night, so staying in a campground/ RV park is less awesome to me. Got to say though their firewood felt a bit overpriced. It felt more like a neighborhood than campground too, though that's to be expected at a RV park. If I were to change one thing, it would be the bathrooms. I'm a girl and even I prefer going in the woods than those toilets. Needs some cleaning once in a while. I've seen messy bathrooms but nothing like this before. Other than that though, just wasn't my feel for a get-a-way or campground. Nice people but when people are so close and don't clean up after themselves, it's not a matter of "ruffing it", it's a matter of hygiene. I personally didn't shower there but my brother and dad did. They told me they were surprised they didn't get foot fungus or worse. Thanks Lost Burrow for the very interesting experience though.
Beautiful campground and views. Bobby and team are super friendly and helpful. Bobby certainly adds to the fun experience.Ours was a family trip and our girls really enjoyed playing with the local kiddos. Certainly not for the camping purists but folk are friendly and it’s reasonably priced. Toilet and shower accommodations are somewhat basic but do the trick. A tip for hot summer days- try and get a campsite against the southern hill as there’s little shade on the northern side and can get hot in summer. Me and my 2 girls really enjoy this place. My wife likes the finer/nicer things and it’s not her favorite place. If your after Aspen prices, service and facilities then this place Likely isn’t for you. But if your relaxed and enjoy beautiful views, different/fun characters then you’ll like it here!
This campground has a lot of potential. It is not an area where one would go to have peace and quiet. The scenery is pretty if you are looking south. There are multiple trailers that live on site permanently and the trailers themselves are less than complete or perfect. Bobby was a great host, he understood when we left a day early. I dont think i would go back again under this current management.
