I really love this place, herb is nice person to meet with ,we camped for 4 days he didn't charge us and always come morning and afternoon check on us if we need anything, it was my time here such a wonderful experience ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

I was in between Parks with reservations, and had a 2 day window with nowhere to stay. Left Silent Lake Prov park, and found this beautiful place, Lost Lake, owned by Herb...I stopped in looking for a 2 night stay, and Herb was gracious enough to give me a nice peaceful spot, looking over the lake. Had the pleasure of supervising Herb and his son Olaf, who were busy cutting up and splitting logs to prepare Herb for winter...although Herb declined to pay me supervisors wages, he assured me I could come back anytime! 😅 Thank you for the hospitality guys, and see you in a few weeks! Great, campground is very peaceful. Its top of a steep hill, no big deal as my wifes little Toyota yaris which is front wheel drive makes it up, so does my motorcycle with road tires. My wife and I are very happy to have our seasonal site here though, the owner is very nice and accommodating. Its a back to nature campgrounds, most sites have water and electricity. No wifi, but you dont go camping for wifi. Grey water drain on site but no black water. There are showers and outhouses for tent campers. Worth it for the views, yes it has a private lake!

Unless you have a four-wheel drive or atv, you cannot get to this mountain-top steep-hill remote campground.
