We have stayed here for many years but it seems to improve each time we go. Wonderful, clean campground. Very well maintained. Sites along the river are beautiful with a nice green lawn, mature trees and a fire pit. We stayed for 2 weeks. During our stay, we had family join us. They stayed in one of the cabins, which are reasonably priced. Walking distance to stores, restaurants etc.

I use to be a long time guest at this campsite but quit coming here to camp because the old owner, Maryanne was horrible to deal with. The only reason I put up with her was because I loved camping here and enjoyed the facilities. My last stay here was in 2021 and believe me I swore up and down I'd never come back until new owners took over. I'm so happy to hear that the new owners are wonderful hosts. I am so happy to be planning on coming back to my most favourite campground in all of Alberta. I'm really looking forward to meeting, Sue, John and their son. I'm thrilled that new owners have taken over. See you soon! 😃🫶☺️

A nice campground not far from the highway. Well managed and maintained. I camp in a tent and it was lovely to have a grassy site right next to the river - the babble of the river was soothing. The amenities are beautifully maintained - clean washrooms and shower area - playground appeared in good condition (don't have children so didn't use) and it is nice that the nights are very quiet. I was out with friends and returned around 11 pm on a long weekend night and there were only one or two other campsites enjoying a fire, the rest were all dark and in for the night. The owners are a joy to work with in booking. When I arrived I noticed that some children were playing on my original site so I requested to move over one to allow them to continue, and my request was accommodated. The children, once someone occupied the site later during the weekend, were very respectful and then stayed on their own site or in the playground. I will definitely visit again - I had such a great sleep that I might go just for that!

This was the quietest and campground I’ve ever been to in my life (aside from the train that goes by blaring its horn, even at night). It’s a small town and you’ll probably hear the train from anywhere you are, granted it’s louder here as it’s beside the tracks. The sites seem well laid out and parking is very clearly marked. We stayed in one of the cabins for the Sinister 7 weekend which was a very busy weekend for the town. It was clean and had everything we needed for small meals (pots, dishes, stovetop, fridge, dish soap etc). Location was perfect, we came and went often but were never very far from where we needed to be. Everyone respected the quiet hours and seemed to follow the rules of parking, dog walking etc. Very family friendly. The pool is small but refreshing on a hot day. The “shallow” end is 4ft which was a bit of a surprise for my son but we managed. Can’t speak to the public shower or laundry facilities as we didn’t require access to those for our short stay.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Lost Lemon for a week. Sue and Jon are the nicest and most hardworking people I have had the pleasure to meet. Little Jake is a fun loving and sweet little boy, who makes the whole campground smile. They went out of their way to accommodate us, when we had truck issues and had to stay longer than anticipated. By the time we had to leave, I felt I was leaving family, we will be back, a wonderful place to stay.
