We enjoyed our stay at the Lost Resort. Wish we were able to stay longer... We stayed in Cabin 3 which was set off from most of the campsites and other cabins. It's very basic but comfortable. Bring your own blankets and towels for the $3 showers. The owner is a character! I loved his curmudgeonly ways but, then again, I don't take myself very seriously. The woman who was working there was great too. Excellent beer selection. Interesting little cafe-area with local history books and maps. Will come again. Tip: bring bug spray for the evening mosquitos. Campfires help keep them away too.

Cabin stay 3 nights, even in unexpectedly cold rainy August it was absolutely incredible. Imagine if you owned 10 acres of the most beautiful rainforest woodlands and got to build the campsites of your dreams, Lost Resort is what you would end up with. Be respectful, don't be a high maintenance Karen of any gender and you and the owner Robert and everyone else will get along just fine! I will be back at least once a year from now on. Just the best!!! ETA: There's a super secret definitely waterlogged shortcut trail behind cabin 2 that leads directly to the camp store and night time private toilet time...bring your own TP just in case....way more direct but possibly more adventurous than the car road.

This campground turned out to be amazing! My girlfriend and I traveled all the way from Seattle to camp at lake ozette for the weekend, however lake ozette campground is on a first come first serve basis and only offers 15 sites. All the camp sites at lake ozette were taken on a Thursday afternoon when we arrived, we didn't know the area well so we weren't sure what to do for camping. When we started to drive away we saw Lost Resort across from lake ozette campground they advertised tent and cabin lodging, I called since they were closed and someone still picked up the phone and they told us to pick any campsite and to settle up with them in the morning! We were so relieved! Lost Resort is a very quiet campground with about 30 or so sites. Lost Resort has a store and cafe with a little bar and deli area and also serve hot pizza! After hiking ozette loop the pizza hit the spot with a couple of rainiers. We will return to this awesome campground soon, we're looking forward to it!

Love this place!!! We try to stop in every time we go hiking! Update... There is nothing much better after a 4 day hike than to have a hot meal, hot shower, and a cold beer 🍺 We have camped here as well. Walking distance to the park for me at least. Nice semi private camping spots or, rent a tiny cabin. Well stocked grocery store... do remember you are a long way from Seattle. Staff have always been nice to us and will tell us the local news when we ask. (We are from Forks!) The food is made right there in front of you and the beer is served in frozen mugs. 😋 Call ahead for reservations... things can get busy during peak months.

I've had several bad experiences with the owner. He even cussed me out and told me to leave for asking to borrow a pen once. I've heard from others that he picks and chooses who he is nice to based on your appearance and needs. If you just a hiker stopping for supplies he will not be nice to you he wants you to spend more money on his terrible "resort"
