Had a great day here! While our favorite beach was Barefoot Beach, it has not quite recovered from Hurricane Ian. Lovers Key has. Parking spots ($8) were available at 11am on a Saturday. While it could be a long walk to the beach and tram makes regular loops and moves people nicely. We didn't take time to walk the trails, but they all seemed opened and maintained. The beach was clean and well maintained. It's amazing how well managed this place is over Barefoot Beach despite being only a couple miles away.

I recently visited Lovers Key Beach and had an absolutely wonderful experience! The beach itself was beautiful, with stunning views and pristine sands. However, what really stood out to me was the exceptional service I received at the gift shop. Cole, who was working there, was incredibly helpful and friendly. He went above and beyond to assist me, offering great suggestions and making sure I found exactly what I needed. His positive attitude and warm demeanor made my visit even more enjoyable. Cole went above and beyond to help with my kayak rental at Lovers Key Beach. He carefully explained the rental process, made sure I had the right safety gear, and even adjusted the kayak to ensure it was comfortable for me. He also provided detailed tips on the best routes to paddle and pointed out areas where I might see wildlife. His expertise and friendly assistance made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable! If you’re heading to Lovers Key Beach, make sure to stop by the gift shop—Cole’s customer service is top-notch! Highly recommend this spot for a relaxing day and excellent hospitality. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very nice. New beach has been installed. The sand is like silk.... or velvet between your toes.! So much space to relax and enjoy a sunset. Wildlife was all over . Ospreys and black skimmers while we visited.

What a wonderful beach to enjoy and soak up some sun! The sunset here is Beautiful, but be ready to get to the trolley or you're walking back to your vehicle, and it's a hike. Plenty of shells to find and today the water was pretty clear. They also offer lounges and umbrellas if you wish. This is a beautiful state park, so check it out! Cheers

Beautiful park with clean and spacious beach. We saw dolphins from the first bridge and then at the beach. The first parking lot isn't that big and gets filled pretty fast, and it's quite a walk if you have to park in the other parking lot. The trolley service from that first parking lot to the beach is great and very useful. Once it drops you off, you only need to cross a long bridge, and you're at the beach. All-day beach chair rentals for $9, and the friendly attendant will help you take them to your preferred spot. I've only been there on weekends, and even when the parkinglots are completely full, you'll still find plenty of space on the beach itself.
