Fun as heck. Lots of cool people there, and everyone was really friendly. The water is a little cool, but u get used to it. Easy to float down the river to your campsite. Nice swimming/fishing area as well. It's mostly clean, just a few alcohol bottles lying around. You fo have to watch for snakes though but I haven't seen one so far in the swimming areas nor in the campsite. IT is dog friendly for sure, and the restrooms are clean. (There is an outhouse provided. It's just dark so bring a flashlight or lantern.) U can grill and have bonfires as well. Also look for the underwater bridge! I'd rate my experience 10/10.
Nice place for small kids to play,an can also ride the river to EARLES ford about a 5to6 hour ride.
This was a great Campground however the toilets were lacking. If you don't like primitive camping this is not for you.
Its a beautiful place and tubing down the river is so fun .
Absolutely BEAUTIFUL any time of the year
