A nice camping area along the river. It makes you not want to sleep because of the quiet and water sounds and yet is so darn relaxing. However it has gotten to be very popular nowadays since I first started camping here in the 1990s. Paved roads and restrooms!!!!
Great spots along the river. River moves too fast to swim in here. Stay away from the hill side as it percolates water which stands and there are a LOT of mosquitoes. It is pretty rough getting in to the campground. Huge potholes and trees close to the road make it tight. Best for shorter RVs. Ive seen class A motorhomes there but personally would not take anything over 25'.
Great campground! Plenty of room for people to spread out, clean bathrooms, and the dogs loved the river and creek running around the campgrounds.
Beautiful above Rimrock Lake.
Very large, mostly flat, right on the river, nice open spaces but also lots of trees.
