We camped here for one night and the location was beautiful. Free access bathroom that was kept pretty clean, but bring your own toilet paper, soap, water and something to dry your hands with. Good area for camping with fire pit, grill, and picnic table.

To get there you drive to high elevation on hwy 12. When you turn off, you go down down down down on a dirt/gravel road. Kinda steep if you are pulling a trailer, but still doable. Beautiful reservoir, had fun fishing and kayaking. As others said, there are ants in the campsites. We had the group site. Some of us chose to camp outside the campsite, down by the lake. No ants there. Chilly at night, even in June. Remember sunscreen! High altitude means it's easy to sunburn.

Paddle boarding. Kayaking. Awesome fishing. Quiet. Great place to cool off. Pay campground on one side of lake. Lots of area for dispersed camping. We camped on beach area across from campground. Did have to put it in 4x4 to cross 1 super sandy area.

Great for tent camping. Restrooms in group campground were clean but be aware, no light at night and our daughter encountered black spiders that were not there at daylight, also be aware your neighbors will be driving in to use the restrooms The group campsite had 3 long tables, a large fire pit with a cooking grate. A serving table next to even more cooking stands for dutch oven and grills. All on a large concrete pad. We drive in with our 19 footer RV. Road to campsite had some rain damage, but we were able to make it through. Lake was beautiful but disappointing. Small fish if you are fishing by the shore. But we had a great time with our daughter and her family. Beautiful forest, with deer, beautiful lake with very small fish, beautiful campsite.

Beautiful scenery! It was hard to fish without a boat right now due to the lake being so low and vegetation around the edges. Overall I had a great experience camping here 🤙🏕
