It is on the rustic side with only vault toilets available. For a short stay, it was fine.
CLOSED as of 24JUL20. “Dispersed Area 5” isn’t blockaded and had a group who seemed to be having a great time. Trail/hike to falls is very short. Some spots a bit steep, sandy... but pretty easy to get to. Cool area. Pools & falls are pretty & fun.
This place is just perfect! Tent camping small RV when i arrive. You will need a fire Permit. You are allow to collect wood! Structure restrooms onsite. Running water available but its freezing water! No Bear Cages so keep it clean and trow away any unwated food before going to sleep and hide coolers since the local bears recognize what a cooler looks like! 17per night maximum of 14 nights! A 20 minute hike to the waterfalls heading down hill and a 45 minute hike to the upper waterfalls steep hiking! Keep it clean its a nice place.
Been here twice now and was great each time! It got cold so make sure you layer up in the off season!
Great campground! More remote than most people want, bring lots of bug spray/repellant, hold your nose when you use the bathroom (hole in the ground), and marvel at the waterfalls just a short walk northeast.
