This is a great little campground with nearby hiking and Goldwater Lake close by. There's no water, but there are pit toilets and a dumpster. My dogs loved hiking to the Hasayampa River and back. Check out All Trails to see how to get there.

Nice little out of the way campground. A few mosquitoes in the late afternoon and evening. I would suggest taking the route from Prescott NOT thru Ponderosa Park/Iron Springs road it is 6 miles of rocky bumpy road. The other way is paved most of the way and the rest is easy driving. No water here do pack your own.

The sites is massive with plenty of bathrooms, sites, and a wonderful host. Definitely recommend it you just want to get away from everything. There's no lake but still it's up north and it's hard to go wrong!

This worked out well for us, we were trying to find a spot on the way up and we were out of luck. We are a big rig and managed to get in (30 ft trailer) I would say it might be a bit tight when busier as the spaces are big enough for the trailer and then squeezing a car next to them. Beautiful campsite with fire rings and in a great spot for activities! I will say, we ended up going the long and windy route to get there which was tough with our trailer, use strava or another similar app to get the true elevation gain and bumpiness.
