The nightly rate includes all fees and taxes. The nightly rate without fees and taxes is $43.00 a night. Campsites are clean, but some require a good amount of leveling. We stayed on site 33, and it was pretty level. The bathrooms are clean. Note that there are no sewer connections, so plan accordingly. The staff was friendly, and so were the neighbors. I needed AAA batteries, but the camp store was out. A few locals at the store offered some (site 43). Great people and a family-friendly place. We camped at Loyston Point Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a beautiful, quiet little campground. You can swim, and kayak, and enjoy the trees and water and peace. We loved the campground. The hosts are pretty strict--I felt some anxiety because of my stupid barking dog and my loud kids, so if you are a big, noisy family, this will not be your place (and we aren't talking quiet hours--we were all asleep by 9 pm; I'm saying, they want it quiet ALL the time and came and spoke with me both about my children and my dog). I'm not trying to be critical--there is a clear aesthetic here priveleging a specific kind of camper. So if you are looking for quiet, clean, and peaceful, in a fantastically beautiful setting, you will love this! We will definitely go back, but only when my kids are a bit older. And we will leave behind our yappy dog.

Very relaxing campground. Easy check in and out. Dump station was clean and kept up with. Clean out hose supplied by campground. If you need ice when noone is at the store you can grab it and text the number on the icebox and let them know how many and what site your in....then pay the next day. Definitely check out Clinch River Brewery near by. Good beer and food! Norris Dam is 2 minutes up the road from there.

We've been going there for four years and absolutely love it. The hosts this year are outstanding as well. I was a dummy and forgot my back meds and they made a special trip to the store and tracked down aspirin for me. They went way beyond what they had to do and it was incredibly appreciated

We stayed in site 10 and I have to say it was the perfect campsite! Plenty of room for our camper and also a big "yard" for our dogs! Plus being right on the water! I highly recommend Loyston Point. I actually used to take my kids there when they were little and let them swim at the beach area!
