It’s quite upsetting that bicyclists are crashed into on the highway, several memorial sites. We witnessed a camper hit a mini bike right by the Big RV sale place. A legitimate bike path should be set up for these reasons. We also almost didn’t see a woman on a trike bike dressed in black. That said, it’s dusty here. Very! Pack what you need because it’s not always available in Quartzite. Have fun and respect the laws!
First time on tlva won't be back to many side by sides noisy had one guy come in my camp and told me my generator was to loud he doesn't get up until around noon I could run my gen then. That didn't happen. We finished breakfast and left.
It's an open desert and there are pit toilets you can use. Wish they would have the new dump stations going but still figuring out stuff. Maybe they could do a "blue boy" dump area until the water works like it was planned.
Beautiful area! Amazing sunsets! For a fee you are provided water & dump. The town has propane available. Hiking is the thing to do here. Or if you have a quad, "plenty of trails".
Responsible government agency needs to get the well drilled to depth. Someone should be charged and jailed for that taxpayer fraud.
The land is great. Views are amazing. Staff at the office were atrocious. These people are so rude. They don’t care about you. They don’t care about being decent human beings. I’ve never felt more hated for simply existing. Why work here if you hate it? One of the employees insisted on putting the pass sticker on my windshield. I have a tall rig so he decided to put his entire bodyweight on my side view mirror to climb up and place the sticker on the top corner. If you have a big truck or rig, have a stool ready or the door open because they don’t care about your equipment either.
