Lucky Loggers RV Park Introduce

Lucky Loggers RV Park is a popular choice for travelers seeking an affordable and convenient stay in the Coos Bay area. Located at 250 E Johnson Ave, Coos Bay, OR 97420, this rv park provides a mix of permanent and transient units, making it suitable for both long-term stays and short visits. The park is centrally located in downtown Coos Bay, offering easy access to local attractions such as the Coos Bay Boardwalk and nearby natural sites.

Lucky Loggers RV Park offers basic amenities including laundry facilities and restrooms. However, visitors have noted that these areas can be dirty and poorly maintained, with issues like mold and flooding in bathrooms. Additionally, there have been reports of power outages and lack of maintenance response, which have caused significant inconveniences for guests.

The park is managed part-time, with only one staff member available four days a week. While recent management changes have slightly improved conditions, many visitors feel that the facility could use more consistent oversight to address ongoing issues. Customer feedback highlights concerns about overbearing management and poor communication, particularly regarding promised discounts that failed to materialize after service disruptions.

  • Location: Centrally located in Coos Bay
  • Amenities: Laundry facilities and restrooms available
  • Hours: Open Monday-Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM; closed on weekends
  • Facilities: Mix of permanent and transient RV units

Customer feedback reveals mixed experiences. While some appreciate the park's central location, others have faced significant challenges with maintenance, cleanliness, and management. Recent reviews emphasize the need for full-time management to improve overall conditions and reliability.

This trailer park is listed under RV Inn Style Resorts. This in no way is a resort. Most are permanent units, mostly with moss and algae. Only one staff person 4 days a week who try's her best. No maintenance staff to fix the many little problems. If you're looking for a quick stay with easy access to boardwalk area. This works

We were here as full time residents for several years. Boy, oh boy, am I glad we finally were able to leave RV life behind and leave this place in our rearview mirror. It wasn't always so bad when there was on-site management, though when there was they'd be nagging constantly about small things (one of the old managers approached my car as I was driving by just to tell me about a light being out on my car that wasn't a light to begin with, just a reflector...). Every "management" person that has come through Lucky Loggers has been about the same, nagging and overbearing. Notably, Deerpoint Meadows (who owns the franchise that bought the park) left it without on-site management for quite some time until recently. No bathrooms being cleaned, no service for long-term or short-term stays (read other reviews), and the place fell into serious disrepair. I saw the same clump of hair that some messy guest left on the shower wall stay there for months. The washing facilities in the laundry are disgusting most of the time and seldom cleaned. I would have to bring disinfectant cleaning wipes to clean the machine before I would feel comfortable putting my laundry in there. We were left without power for 3, almost 4, days in the middle of the summer time. The only issue was a breaker that needed to be flipped back on, but not a single person was available to come fix it. Even the power company came by but they could not access the locked breaker box. All of our cold food spoiled and we ended up in a hotel for the last 2 nights of that to be able to charge our phones and stay some semblance of sane. We were promised a discount on our next month's rent due to this fiasco that never materialized. The upper management leaves much to be desired and doesn't really seem to care if their facilities are in disrepair and their customers aren't happy as long as they are making money. A few months back the women's restroom had about 6 inches of water on the ground and came out in a wave when I opened the door. A pipe had burst, clearly. Nobody even came to shut off the water until the next day. There is now black mold visible from the maintenance shed, the backside of the walls in the bathrooms, and they have attempted to fix the flooding issue but to no avail. Health hazard. Things are slightly better now that there is part time management, but as I understand it she is only there 3 days out of the week. This place needs some serious help and needs full time management again. I'd advise just about anyone to avoid it unless they have no other options, though its central location in downtown Coos Bay is nice.

Our first trip with RV trailer. Place was easy to find, easy to park. Hookups were fine. When we reserved, we were told there were public bathrooms, laundry facilities, a game room. All were there, but locked. We never encountered any staff we could ask about this or any other questions. This place was not cheap, either. Spots are very close together.

The location is good, but the amenities need help. Very old and dirty bathrooms. Lots of mold and only 1 shower working in women’s bathroom. Laundry room was okay. They did provide pet poop bags, but all garbage cans full of poop bags. If you don’t need to use bathrooms, then not a bad place. Mostly filled with full timers.

Does the friendly RV park exist? We came in as a legacy trailer. Someone gave us a trailer in the LL RV. The new rent is $750+ electricity, per month. LL RV requires a background check, read that as how much money do you have. My wife and are on S.S. as our income, it wasn't enough for LL RV, We were asked to leave the park unless we could post a $2250+ $100 electricity+$50 cat deposits. During this we were denied the bathroom, shower, and the internet WIFI was inoperable. After all we had to pay $1127 to clear our name. You decide, but you might want to look around first.
