It looks like a nice place to spend some time,I plan to do just that soon. The kids running the shop were polite and attentive to my needs. They were great listeners to my old stories and I recommend this fine establishment to any who want to get outdoors!

I was staying at LDMA Vein Mountain and not getting much gold, so my group and I went to Lucky Strike to try our luck. Some of us ran high bankers(our own), and we ran material about a ton to a ton and a half at $40 each. The gold was pretty good. It was somewhat fine with some pickers. The experience was very good. The staff was very friendly and made you feel at home. Some in our group did gem bags and were very pleased with what they found. I highly recommend Lucky Strike. If I am in that area again, I would stay in their campground.

We had the best week of our trip! Great people Not a ton of gold, but a huge amount of crystals to make up for it. Everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming. It felt like we went to visit family.

I really don't know what to say. We didn't know what to expect coming from out of state. This place was definitely interesting. It is a "camp ground" between 2 highways. Like a family compound per say... all night was the sound of traffic. And across the creek was a literal house we got to stare into while making our dinner 🙃, people lived on the camp ground in rvs. The person behind us worked on his rv the whole day and literally just sat there revving up his engine. There was really no good space to set up with our family. There's no fire pit, just a ring of rocks. No one interacted with us or showed us what to do they just said, "Here is your stuff." The water was almost impossible for us to get down to "pan" for gold. We had to climb down the bank like a mountain goat. The area was so small and narrow, like less than a football field. I planned this out for weeks waiting for their dad to come back from a work trip, and this was the biggest Easter letdown for the kids. Us being a military family, time together is so special, and it sucks his first weekend home was this. If you are expecting something exciting with your kids, do not rely on the website. It's nothing like they advertise. We primitive camp all the time back home. This was just sleeping in someone's back road off the side of the highway.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with information and requests. We used a pull through spot for our camper so we walked over to the front store. We used a high banker and tried our best but did not see much flakes in there. The mystery bag had some great items in it for the kids to find which was fun. The diner house was being rebuilt and looks to be nice.

Staff was very helpful. We were there when their local club was there and everyone was so nice. Highly recommend. I think it took us about 2 hours to go through 1 gem bucket and one gold bucket. My 8 year old loved it!

I attended a coin show here today. There was live music, vendors and a lot of happy people here.
