Lucky Strike Lakeside Cabins and Campground

We spent 3 nights in the Scarlet Antlers cabin, and had an incredible time despite the weather. While the road in was rough, I did manage to make it in my Mercedes, which surprised the host! Self check in was easy as pie, and plenty of parking as we had 3 vehicles. The cabin was splendidly well appointed with plenty of room for our party of 5, and due to a last minute emergency we had to bring our 2 large dogs as well - to which the host Daniel was extremely accommodating. The decor is very nice as others have stated, the kitchen is exceptionally stocked with whatever you could need, and all the little extras one usually forgets to bring. Large master bedroom, and a huge loft that can sleep 4 easily, as well as a hide a bed. Huge shower, running hot and cold water and propane heat throughout the cabin kept us all cozy. On the expansive deck with a view of the lake, we made use of the Weber BBQ and fire ring that are plumbed into the cabin, (so no bottles that could run out or be tripped over). Had a nice fire in the fire pit as well and did spend some time kayaking, although we did get soaked! We have spent a number of years visiting cabins in the highway 24 corridor, and without a doubt,this was the finest yet. Immaculate well thought out cabin, and an even better host. We are definitely planning a return.

Staying here was an absolutely enchanting experience. The moment we arrived, we were captivated by the sheer beauty of the place, with its stunning view and direct access to the lake. The location itself was incredibly scenic, offering a serene and peaceful atmosphere that allowed us to truly unwind. The hosts had meticulously considered every detail to ensure a comfortable stay. From the well-thought-out amenities to the carefully arranged living spaces, it was evident that they had taken great care to provide everything one could possibly need. The fact that the house was completely off the grid was exactly what we were looking for, as it allowed us to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of daily life and immerse ourselves in the tranquility of nature. Moreover, we were thrilled to find that the accommodation was pet-friendly. Being able to bring our furry friend along made the experience even more enjoyable and memorable. Our stay was so extraordinary that we have already made plans to return in November. We simply cannot wait to revisit this hidden gem and relive the magical moments we had. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a blissful escape from the ordinary.

I can’t say enough great things about our 3 night stay at Lucky Strike RV. We stayed in the Bears Den cabin and it was amazing. So peaceful and quiet. The cabin was in meticulous shape, super clean and cozy. It even has its own dock and the views of the lake from the cabin’s deck are spectacular. If you’re wondering what to bring…nothing but clothes, food and drink. The cabin is fully equipped with all kitchen utensils, bedding, towels, camping chairs, bbq utensils, toaster, coffee maker, even firewood …..everything is there. Communication with Aaron and Daniel was excellent. On site, Aaron is a great host - he is always available and always helpful. We can’t wait to come back to disconnect from our busy city life and make more epic family memories.

Had a good time with the family we rented 2 cabins. It was very relaxing no one bugged us , everything was available for us to use. We had fun paddle boarding and going out with the boat fishing was fun. Definitely plan on going back!

We had a great father and son weekend at the lakeside cabin. Brand new accommodations in a modern but authentic cabin. We never felted like we need anything the whole time, everything was perfect. I feel like everytime we go there this place will just keep getting better. There are trails leading to lakes and mountain view points, making for a great snowmobiling experience with 2 feet of fresh powder in meadows and fun hill climbs.
