Customer Reviews
Great place for boating and fishing. Camp sites are good sized but could be a bit more level. First come first served so get there by early afternoon if you want a camp site. We very much appreciated the steel pavilion and picnic table at our site. The weather and wind gusts can be extreme and change without warning. We saw everything from horizontal snow to torrential rain and thunderstorms to 95 degree heat in the 2 weeks we were there. Twin Falls is about 37 miles north. Very nice town with a lot to offer.
Absolutely beautiful and peaceful this time of year- flies present but not biting, just a minor annoyance. Three other groups here, so mostly empty.
$15, vault toilets, water available, covered picnic tables. We've stayed here a few times while traveling between Elko and Twin Falls. It's off the highway but close enough that it's a good overnight spot while traveling through. A few shady trees surrounding the sites. The adjacent day use area has a boat launch, tables and vault toilets.
I heard from some friends in Central Oregon this weekend mention and say around the campfire that that there Uncle was Lud Drexler and a great fellow They said his hobby was to blow stuff up in the local dump for the fun of it and year round
Clean and quiet. The only noise are the pickups early morning driving to the boat launch
8 miles off highway 93 this park is great for a overnight or weekend. There's literally no signage or directions which makes it uncrowded and relatively unknown. Has 20 standard non-hookup or tent sites. Most with sun shades, all with picnic tables and fire rings. RV dump and potable water (during camping season, call first). Super long boat launch for year round boat access. Right next to salmon falls dam with little or no traffic. Full bars LTE on T-mobile as the entire area sits under multiple cell towers. Campground roads are gravel, sites are not the most level but doable. Dark skies, quiet, secluded and lake access. Love this place!4/28/25
