It's beautiful right now. It's a great place to stop with your kids and have a picnic. There is a big waterfall that you can see from the road but it's way up in there. There was also a couple little waterfalls on the side of the road when you first pull in to Lytle Creek. Roll the windows down and you can hear them.
They have a few picnic tables very relaxing have a picnic and enjoy the scenery if you donβt use the trail you donβt need a pass
(You guys this is the Cajon Pass right by train tracks , maps had me pick and Lytle Creek Cajon Pass was the closest to the name, I typed in ,sorry I don't think that place is the same one I went too.) We always looking for gold .Me, I'm mainly looking for beautiful rocks, definitly do not come alone! There is a lot of people just lingering,Looks as if there meeting others or like its a secret place to meet someone. Feels a little strange,my daughter never left my eyesight thats for sure and I made sure my hunting crew (haha) had her front and center. We stayed just enough to take the video.I did see little fishes and tadpoles ,water was clear but you see water had a lot of green foam and string algae.A little smell there if you know what I mean. I did see a family in there bathing suits having a ball. Just be careful please.

The setting for this recreation area is sublime. Stunningly beautiful. It says Campground, but I'm not so sure. Definitely not overnight, that much I do know. I'll edit this when I go down there and find out more information. I've known some of the Rangers for years.
