We have had the privilege of delivering our RV rental trailers here for several years. The staff and new owners are fantastic to deal with and very accommodating! They have a great little store with everything you could ever need. Be sure to get a cone at the ice cream shop and enjoy it on their upper deck with a million dollar view of the lake!
A Hidden Gem Worth Discovering! I recently had the pleasure of staying at this incredible RV park, and I’m almost hesitant to share just how amazing it is—it's such a hidden gem! From the moment we arrived, the office staff were incredibly welcoming and efficient, making the check-in process smooth and quick. They provided excellent recommendations on local attractions and activities, and their on-site shop for quick needs was incredibly convenient. The pricing was reasonable, especially considering the breathtaking views and the pristine lake. The natural beauty of the area was just what we were looking for, and it truly felt like a well-kept secret. The friendly atmosphere was a standout feature. We encountered several fantastic staff members, including Jackson and Koda, as well as the wonderful ladies at the cafe. Apologies for not remembering all their names, but their service was top-notch! I might have overindulged in the onion rings, but they were worth it! A special thank you to Mr. Smith for assisting with our Starlink. The addition of WiFi in the area was a lifesaver when our Starlink had issues. Lastly, while it’s not directly related to the RV park, the local vendors selling corn, pies, sweets, and eggs were a delightful bonus. They added a wonderful local touch to our stay. This place is truly a treasure, and I’m looking forward to returning. I’ll only share a couple of photos because I want to keep this gem my little secret! See you all real soon! Meredith and Ryan :)
No cell service and slow wifi? What a blessing! Beautiful location gorgeous water best 9 hole golf course in valley great views too of the lake and area. Dump is nearby and a wonderful little free store with a bunch of assorted items that are defiantly keepers!
We spent a week at the cabin lately. No shower in the cabin. What bothers us was the strong smell of the cleaning products when we get in. It was so strong! I cleaned the floor a few times the first day just to eliminate the smell! Not sure what they want to kill!! The cabin has no internet service. The new owner get very greedy charged us $150 plus tax cleaning fee for we didn’t leave the place as we found condition as a penalty!! Not sure what kind of agreement we were in. We paid about $2000 for the week. They usually charge $100 cleaning fee. Honestly we just two of us used one room, brought our own liens, no shower room, I clean the floor every day not the last day though. They said they found sand on the floor. Dishes left in the drying tray. We could spend half hour to clean the place if we knew we were in an agreement. It was a terrible experience to deal with the owner. The new owner said It was not the little time their stuff spent to clean the place it was the policy they have to stand for to support their staff. More like punishing you. They have to charge more to be the winner. By the way the cabinets smell greasy and odour.
I really like it here. We come on average about once a yr. New owners now and some changes are good like internet reachable in the cabins. We did not come for internet though. Ac now in the cabin helps. Cabin was clean. But to be honest the new owners are not that engaging and so much use of the chainsaw today a lot of the day was a set back and not enjoyable! Just wanted to relax and listen to music on the beach but couldn't hear a lot of the day. Beer prices were once much better too at the convenience store, even last yr! Still tried to enjoy our time and I spent a lot of time on the beach cleaning up after other messy slob guests and collected lots of debris for the beach fire I made. The bed is super firm hard. Was very stiff this am. Currently 3 of 5 stars this round.
