This is a nice campground with level sites and is relatively quite. Great location to explore the area with only minutes to the ferries and the shops. Large concrete patios really improve the sites. The cable TV has very poor reception but the over the air free TV had 19 channels and perfect reception. So you are better off not using their cable.

We stayed at this KOA for 5 nights. The campground is set up nicely and very user friendly. The staff are extremely nice and helpful. The dog park was great, nice laundry room, pool, bathrooms. They even deliver ice and firewood to your site!!! Everything about this KOA says we hope you come back. Believe me, I will. There’s even a free shuttle to catch the ferry to Mackinaw Island and our pups were welcome too. We would definitely come back and highly recommend this campground!

Excellent experience! First time camping for our family. Checked in and very organized staff was ready to help us. Clean, well prepped campsite with very new furniture, grill, and chairs. All the hook-ups where simple for a newbie to figure out and worked properly. I had several questions about Ferry Tickets etc and the staff was very helpful and gave good advice. Staff was very diligent cleaning and keeping grounds maintained and picked up. Excellent experience!!

Such a great experience here! We had a large party and 2 cabins. The staff was fantastic and brought firewood so quickly after just sending a text to the office. There is a great trail out the back of the park that leads you to a paved path into town or to the water the opposite direction! The cabins were private enough to enjoy time with just our party even though they are close. Everything was great and we can't wait to come back!

We stayed 3 nights. The kids loved the pool. They had fun on the playground and with gaga ball. My mini schnauzer thoroughly enjoyed every inch of the dog park. The owners are very kind and accommodating. The general store has a good offering of essentials. We'd definitely stay again.

Had a great experience here. We arrived after the office had closed, but spoke with Jasmine ahead of time who explained the process for finding our lot. She was super nice. Check in the next morning was easy. Bathrooms are nice and clean. Most lots are shady, though, there are a few at the end of the campground that are unshaded. Didn't use the pool, but seemed to be well-kept. A few yard games like corn hole are available as well. All of the other guests were polite and evenings were quiet. Free shuttle to the ferry us available, which makes it super convenient. About 2 miles from downtown Mackinaw City restaurants, gift stores, groceries, and hardware. Overall, great experience and we will definitely stay again if we are in the area!

We have been camping here every Memorial Day, and Labor Day since 2017. Great campground staff, owners, etc. Always a 5 star experience. One of the staff even gave our 3 huskies treats this past week! This is indeed our happy place in Michigan. Being on the bike trail that takes you all over is great! We love ebiking the Mackinaw area.

We had plans to go to Myrtle Beach but it was raining the entire week . So we decided to go North to Michigan and go to Mackanac Island. The KOA was very clean with new pads , furniture, grill, and fire pit . The staff (Pam) was very nice and helpful. We rode the Harley thru the Tunnel of trees. Had to cut our trip short, but plan to return and do the upper peninsula.
