I stayed here from March-July with my 3 school age children. It was so peaceful. We stayed while transitioning to our new house. All of the shade trees give us a sense of privacy and certainly helped with the Georgia summer heat. Would recommend!! We were comfortable leaving our 500.00 pellet grill, space X starlink internet and anything else we had if value. I never had to worry about our safety or our things. When we first arrived we were greeted by the staff, and they quickly did not hesitate to jump in and help us get set up

Nice place, right off a major access road to the power plant, so if there is any maintenance going on at the plant then the road is busy. Out in a wooded area, so plenty of deer by the road. But the park itself is great. Spots are not level, but they have a laundry and shower room. 30 minutes away from augusta, so not to bad.

My wife and I were at Made in The Shade Campground for approx. one month, site 31. Ben, the manager was extremely helpful and friendly. Our first night, hurricane Helena hit and the electricity and water where out for approx. 11 days. Ben and numerous camper’s made sure we and others had water and food and assisted in anyone that needed it. I have been camping for many years and if it wasn’t for Ben, the manager, this campground would not be as clean or quiet which makes for a great stay. After the hurricane, Ben pushed to have the campground purchase and new generator so that that the well would always work during an outage. The next time we visit Georgia, we will make it a point to stay at his campground.

Wonderful experience at this family friendly park. Love the new playground equipment installed for the kids. I was very impressed with the quality of the wi fi connection considering how rural it is which is exactly what we are looking for in a camp ground. Outdoor living with some luxury items. I love that kids are allowed to run around and be kids without adults yelling at them for having fun. Owners were super nice people and very involved. It's great to see people take pride in maintaining a property. Would definitely stay again. Can't wait to plan our next family adventure... just wish we could live there year round!
