Small but pretty. The golf course is so close that balls go whizzing by the cars and campers. The 2 bathrooms are pretty far away. Practically no parking for visitors. But not bad for a night or 2 at the most.
Stayed here for 12 weeks....great park, lots of activities, sites are clean & maintained, park rangers/managers are great, other campers are polite & courteous. Only one issue...bathrooms need to be cleaned daily....1 women's garbage bag with dirty diaper was left untouched for at least 10 weeks, shower floors untouched....men's shower floors, untouched for 12 weeks...shower head parts on the floor for 9 weeks, beer bottle tops, electrical tape, big clump of private hair, floors untouched....unhappy about this one situation, did make calls to have this addressed throughout our stay to city hall
This is a very nice park with lots of camping space. Park offers lots to do baseball field, sand volleyball, swimming pool, golf course and much more. Campground attendant was very helpful she does a great job. Gave us a nice packet of information for the local businesses. The Mexican restaurant downtown was a great place to eat. Nice town and awesome park... would absolutely stay again
They are so concerned about weather you paid or not. Had 2 different people come ask. They should put some of that effort into cleaning the showers and bathrooms…… it was gross! We pay weekly btw and had to move from a full hookup site for the weekend into the middle of a softball field and a soccer field this is what brought me to the shower house…. We will be exploring options today. It’s a small campground so cleaning the facilities should not be a problem! I can handle a lot of things but not gross floors and walls. I mean gross 🤮
Found this place by accident, but was well worth the stay. Where we live we don't have lightening bugs, so my son had never seen them before, but this place came alive with them when it got dark. Not sure how much it cost to stay in a camper or RV, since we stayed in Tent. However the tent spaces are really reasonable. It is in a public park, but still has electricity and water in the camper spaces and electricity in the tent spaces.
