I had the pleasure of camping through Christmas and New Years. I enjoyed the best coffee of my life, I took relaxing walks, and I felt safe in my surroundings. I met wonderful people, and of all the parks I’ve been to, this one has to be my favorite. ANIMAL friendly, FAMILY friendly, quiet and beautiful. Everyone is respectful. My two year old son particularly enjoyed Mr. Robert riding around on the tractor working. Will be back in the future. Looking forward to a summer stay.

Magic River Campground – A Hidden Gem in Long Beach, MS Magic River is a beautiful, small, and natural campground that truly captures the charm of Long Beach. The peaceful atmosphere, combined with the stunning scenery, makes it a perfect getaway. The owners are incredibly courteous and welcoming, making sure everyone feels at home. This is a first-come, first-served campground, and the sense of community among fellow campers adds to the experience. The sites are gravel, level, and well-maintained, with full hookups (water, electricity, and sewer). There’s also a lovely pond and a great area for walking dogs, which was a nice touch. One of the best parts is the location—close to stores, restaurants, and, of course, the beach! It’s quiet, relaxing, and truly a hidden gem. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to enjoy the natural beauty of Long Beach. We’re traveling full-time and sharing our journey on TikTok/Instagram (@alaynamscwain), so if you want to see more about our stay here and other great campgrounds, check us out! 10/10 – would definitely stay again!

Nice small campground. Full hookups. Large sites. Close to beaches and dining. Maps wanted us to take exit 24, the campgrounds website says to take exit 28. Easy access from I-10 at exit 28
