I didn't rate the room because we used the RV site. But our site was 5 stars. Beautiful view of the valley; level and excellent full hookups. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Great place to stay to tour Biltmore and surrounding attractions on Asheville area.
Booked for 2 nights in October 2024, well aware of the cancelation policy. Hurricane hit two weeks before our stay and it became very clear that Ma Ma Gertie’s would not be operational for the dates we reserved. While they would not answer the phone or respond to emails, they did post on Facebook that they were non operational and their cancelation policy would still apply. What? We contacted our credit card company to dispute the charge and while Ma Ma Gertie’s would not respond to us, they responded to our credit card company stating they would only issue a credit. As of today, the campground is still not operational. While it is a very sad situation, it does not give Ma Ma Gertie’s the right to keep our money when they could not provide the services we paid for. We had every intention of arriving for our stay but it was not possible. Ma Ma Gertie’s have turned their misfortune into our misfortune. It isn’t right and I’ll be contacting governmental agencies who oversee these types of business practices.
Don't book with them, they will not refund your money for any reason! I booked at 1130pm one day and cancelled the next morning due to a change in our itinerary, they will not credit you. They only offer a gift card which is worthless, as I'll never do business with them again. Buyer beware
RV park down graded my reservation due to water problems on tier 3. Price difference was $102 per nite and instead of refunding me on my credit card they only offered a gift card! I protested and they ignored me. Started credit card protest with my card holder. Site is very steep. You can easily damage your RV bumpers at this site beware.
We stayed here for our 31 anniversary. I made these reservations 6 months in advance in that time we bought a bigger camper. I called to make sure it would fit in the spot we booked. It would so they ugaraded us . We end up on top of the mountain with a beautiful spot. This place is so worth staying at super nice, very very clean, great dog area. We will stay here again.
