So worth it! I have been wanting to see this part of the park for so long. Definitely one of the coolest parts of the park. Take the lope around all of it and you won't be disappointed. Please don't block the road though! It's a one way one lane on the loop so be courteous, don't be the one to hold everyone up... There's plenty of places to pull off the road!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Visiting Mammoth Hot Springs in Yellowstone National Park felt like stepping back in time to a breathtaking, prehistoric landscape. This is an incredible and truly unique spot within Yellowstone! The terraces formed by the hot springs look like natural artwork, with stunning, otherworldly formations and colors that are almost hard to believe are natural, not manmade. The area feels like a different world, with steam rising from the springs and striking shades of white, orange, and yellow. It’s easy to explore, thanks to well-maintained boardwalks and plenty of great photo spots. The views are breathtaking and reveal something new from every angle. If you’re visiting Yellowstone, Mammoth Hot Springs is a must-see. It’s a peaceful, awe-inspiring place that showcases nature’s artistry in an amazing way!
Such an amazing place to visit. We went when there was snow and the walkways were a little slick but we still had such a great time. The views are amazing.
Truly stunning place, we visited in November, so some of it was frozen, which was pretty cool to see. Remember you can only enter Yellowstone via the North entrance at this time of the year. And bring a close peg fpr your nose if the smell of sulfur isn't your thing as its pretty repugnant. That being said, I've never seen anything quite like this and it's well worth suffering through the smell. The vistas as you climb higher are pretty spectacular too.
