Nice RV Park. Close to town. Even though it is right off the main road, there are plenty of giant pine trees around the campsite. We rented a premium spot with full hook ups. Water and power worked great. To save on grey water tank, we did use their showers. Their restrooms and showers were clean and the water pressure was good. I have long hair, so need good water pressure to rinse out shampoo and conditioner. There were no timers, so was able to rinse properly. The staff welcoming us were friendly. Make sure to bring wheel blocks, there is a slope to the sites. Will stay again. P.s. It is Mammoth Lakes, outdoor activities abound!
Easy checkin and checkout. Bathrooms / showers are summer camp style. Bathrooms were warm and adequate. Could have been a little cleaner, but we got into camp late, so maybe that was part of it. Just passed through for a night and a shower. It worked for us
Very nice. Better if you book a site on the opposite side from the hospital to avoid the central plant noise. Bike path right out front to the skate park, playground, and town. Be patient when calling. They get busy especially in the afternoon with check in.
Mammoth is an incredible place. We’ve stayed at a lot of RV parks but this was our first stay here. Honestly, it wasn’t great. The sites we stayed in were fairly mediocre, basically a parking lot (though the far side in the trees looked nicer). The bathrooms were HORRIBLE, specifically the showers. There was blood on the door entering for several days. The showers were not cleaned a single time we were here, the same hair was stuck to the walls the whole time, the shower curtains were gross, it just was filthy. Our last night, I watched a lady go from stall to stall to use the restroom, she went through all five stalls before standing there deciding which one was least disgusting. Aside from our check in (the staff was lovely), the store was closed every time we went over there (we checked every day) before we’d leave to go elsewhere for ice, supplies, etc. The playground is ok but not great for younger kids, there are two swings (that squeak horribly into the late evening while kiddos play), a tire swing, and some metal climbing structure. There is a camp host site though we never saw the host and they most certainly did not manage people and noise. I got out of our trailer to deal with the awful people next to us that pulled in at 11pm. Definitely a mediocre stay. Curious where the money ($500+) for our stay goes - it most certainly is NOT towards maintenance. Can’t wait to return to Mammoth but will not be returning to this RV park.
Beautiful campground with full hookup sites. Don't count on getting any wifi signal and the cable TV at our site wasn't working. Not a huge deal since we only watch TV right before bed. We were in site 205. Great location for seeing all the sites in the area, June lake, Convict Lake, Devil's Postpile, and under 2 hours to the Yosemite gate.
